Wheelchair Van Rental That Moves You

Mileage

• For each day that you rent our wheelchair vans, you will receive 200 miles for free, with a maximum of 4,000 miles per wheelchair van rental.
• For wheelchair van rentals lasting longer than 30 days, the maximum free mileage allowance applies on a per-month-basis.
• Mileage exceeding the allowance will be charged at $.35 per mile.

Insurance

Safety is one of the most important things that we emphasize, regardless of whether you are renting one of our wheelchair vans, purchasing our mobility products or seeking assistance in our Commercial Upfits division.

All persons who are interested in renting one of our wheelchair vans MUST have a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance.

In many cases your personal automobile insurance policy will cover you while driving a rental vehicle. However, you may want to verify this with your insurance company, or contact an independent travel insurance broker. 

Wheelchair Van Delivery and Pick Up

• Our wheelchair vans may be picked up or returned at our Wheelchair Getaways office.
• At VP, we offer convenient, door-to-door delivery and pickup services for a fee. Call us for further information.
• Basic wheelchair van rental charges are due at the time of delivery.

Other Charges

At Van Products, we believe in being transparent with our customers, so that there are no unexpected “surprises”. That said, the following are some additional charges that you may incur when renting one of our wheelchair vans. 

• Quoted wheelchair van rental rates do not include the cost of gas.
• Our wheelchair vans are typically delivered with a full tank of gas. Along with the cost of gasoline, a $10.00 refueling charge may be applied to the total price of the rental if a wheelchair van is returned with less gas than at delivery.
• A MINIMUM $50.00 cleaning fee will be charged for excessive dirt, stains or pet hair.
• A credit card number or deposit of $100.00 is required to guarantee reservations.
• If, for some reason, you need to cancel your reservation, we are happy to refund your deposit, provided sufficient notice is given.
• Smoking fee: our vans are smoke free! There will be a $100.00 fee for smoking in a rental van.
